Bu çalışma XV. yüzyılda kaleme alınan Seyfü'l-Mülûk ile Bedi'ü'l-Cemâl Hikâyesi adlı eserin Bağlamlı Dizin ve İşlevsel Sözlük çalışmasıdır. Çalışma, Türk Dil Kurumu Kütüphanesi'nde bulunan 596 numarada kayıtlı yazmanın ilk kısmında yer alan Seyfü'l-Mülûk ile Bedi'ü'l-Cemâl Hikâyesi adlı mesnevinin Tülay Çulha tarafından yayına hazırlanmış metin üzerinden şekillendirilmiştir. Bu çalışma TEBDİZ (Tarih ve Edebiyat Metinleri Bağlamlı Dizin ve İşlevsel Sözlük) projesinin alt yapısı ve araştırma metodu kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Bir metin üzerine yapılan çalışmada şiir, içerik bakımından ele alınırken bağlam göz ardı edilirse ortaya konulacak anlam ve yorumlama eksik kalacaktır. Bu tür çalışmaların anlaşılır ve net olabilmesi için sözcüklerin bağlamsal anlamının ortaya konması gereklidir. Bu çalışma ile klasik şiir örneklerinden olan Seyfü'l-Mülûk ile Bedi'ü'l-Cemâl Hikâyesi adlı eserin kolaylıkla anlaşılması, metnin klasik Türk şiirindeki yeri ve yazıldığı dönemin sosyo-kültürel özelliklerinin ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde eser ile ilgili biçim, muhteva ve dil açısından incelemeler yapılmış olup ikinci kısmında ise eserin bağlamlı dizinine ve sözlüğüne yer verilmiştir.
This study is the Contextual Index and Functional Dictionary of the work named Seyfü'l-Mülûk and Bedi'ü'l-Cemâl Story, which was written in the 15th century. The study is based on the text prepared for publication by Tülay Çulha of the masnavi named Seyfü'l-Mülûk and Bedi'ü'l-Cemâl Hikâyesi, which is in the first part of the manuscript registered at 596 in the Library of the Turkish Language Society. This study was prepared by using the infrastructure and research method of the TEBDİZ (Historical and Literary Texts Contextual Index and Functional Dictionary) project. In a study on a text, if the context is ignored while the poem is handled in terms of content, the meaning and interpretation will be incomplete. In order for such studies to be understandable and clear, it is necessary to reveal the contextual meaning of words. With this study, it is aimed to easily understand the work called Seyfü'l-Mülûk and Bedi'ü'l-Cemâl Story, which is one of the examples of classical poetry, to reveal the place of the text in classical Turkish poetry and the socio-cultural characteristics of the period in which it was written. In the first part of the study, examinations were made in terms of form, content and language related to the work, and in the second part, the contextual index and dictionary of the work were included.
