Bu çalışmada kullanılan bitki örnekleri Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinde bulunan Bitlis, Elazığ, Muş, Van, Tunceli, Hakkâri illerinden arazi çalışmaları sonucunda toplanan, Asteraceae familyasından Tanacetum L. cinsine ait 18 takson [T. cilicium, T. balsamitoides, T. parthenium, T. parthenifolium, T. zahlbruckneri, T. kotschyi, T. nitens, T. cadmeum subsp. orientale, T. densum subsp. amani, T. densum subsp. laxum, T. aureum var. aureum, T. aureum var. heimerlii, T. vulgare, T. canascens, T. polycephalum subsp. argyrophyllum, T. abrotanifolium, T. argentum subsp. argentum, T. tomentellum (gri tüylü), T. tomentellum (gümüş beyaz tüylü)] polen morfolojileri, ışık mikroskobu ve taramalı elektron mikroskobu (SEM) ile ayrıntılı şekilde çalışılmıştır. Wodehouse metodu ile hazırlanan polen preparatlarındaki polenlerin morfolojik özellikleri tespit edildikten sonra mikrofotoğrafları çekilmiştir. Bu çalışma ile Tanacetum L. cinsinin bu türlerinin taksonomik problemlerine, palinolojik bilgiler ışığında çözüm aranmıştır. Yapılan palinolojik araştırmalar sonucu çalışılan Tanacetum L. cinsine ait bu taksonların polenleri; 3-kolporat, operkulat, polen şekli; oblat-sferoidal, suboblat, ekzin tektat, yüzeyi ise ekinat-perforat olduğu gözlenmiştir.
The plant samples used in this study were collected from the provinces of Bitlis, Elazığ, Muş, Van, Tunceli and Hakkari in the Eastern Anatolia Region as a result of field studies, and 18 taxa belonging to the genus Tanacetum L. from the Asteraceae family [T. cilicium, T. balsamitoides, T. parthenium, T. parthenifolium, T. zahlbruckneri, T. kotschyi, T. nitens, T. cadmeum subsp. orientale, T. densum subsp. amani, T. densum subsp. laxum, T. aureum var. aureum, T. aureum var. heimerlii, T. vulgare, T. canascens, T. polycephalum subsp. argyrophyllum, T. abrotanifolium, T. argentum subsp. argentum, T. tomentellum (with gray hairs), T. tomentellum (with silver-white hairs)] pollen morphologies were studied in detail with light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). After determining the morphological characteristics of the pollen in the pollen preparations prepared by the Wodehouse method, their microphotographs were taken. The taxonomic problems of these species of Tanacetum L. the genus have been solved in the light of palynological information. Pollen grains of some taxa belonging to Tanacetum L. genus studied as a result of palynological researches; 3-colporate, operculate, pollen shapes; oblate-spheroidal, suboblatae, exine surface was observed to be tectatae, echinate-perforate.
