Modern Türk edebiyatında kanon edebiyatın dışında kalan ve bugün edebiyat camiasında pek de bilinmeyen Emin Feyzi Bey, Osmanlı ordusunda miralay(albay) rütbesine sahip şair, aydın bir kişidir. Şiir, felsefe ve matematik alanında yazdığı eserleriye Paris Beynelmilel Tarih Cemiyetine kabul edilen sanatçı, Kendi hayatını tüm ayrıntılarıyla kaleme almış ve hayatının illet, hastalık, zillet, elem içinde geçtiğini; kaderin kendisini bahtiyar etmediğini dile getirmiştir. Tüm bu sıkıntılı hayata rağmen kāvi bir imana sahip olan şair, şekva etmekten ziyade daima şükürdar bir dil kullanmış ve kadere teslimiyetçi bir anlayış sergilemiştir. Bu çalışmada, 1862՚de Süleymaniye՚nin Goyje köyünde doğan ve Osmanlı ordusunda miralay rütbesine kadar yükselen şair, alim bir kişilik olan Süleymaniyeli Emin Feyzi Bey՚in hayatı, sanatı ve eserleri incelenmiştir. Mevcut çalışma yüksek lisans tezi olduğu için eserleri arasında şiir türünde yazılan Şu'ā'āt ve İlāve-i Şu'ā'āt adlı eserlerinin transkripsiyonu yapılmış ve diğer eserlerinin de künyeleri hakkında kısaca bilgiler verilmiştir. Bu tez Giriş'i takiben dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde şairin hayatı ve sanat anlayışı yer almaktadır. İkinci bölümde şairin eserleri hakkında bilgiler verilip eserlerin tanıtımı yer almaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde şairin şiirlerinin biçim ve muhteva bakımından incelenmesi yer almaktadır. Son olarak da dördüncü bölümde de Şu'ā'āt ve İlāve-i Şu'ā'āt eserlerinin transkripsiyonu yer almaktadır.
Emin Feyzi is an underrecognized poet and intellectual who is out of canon literature in modern Turkish literature. He also had the rank of colonel in the Ottoman army. He was accepted to the Paris International Society of History for his works in the fields of poetry, philosophy and mathematics. Emin Feyzi wrote his autobiography in all details and pointed that he went through sickness, disease, humiliation and sorrow in his life and fate did not make him happy. Despite all these challenges in life, the poet, who had a firm faith as a destinist, always used a grateful language rather than complaining. This study aims to analyze the life, art and works of Emin Feyzi, a poet and scholar, who was born in the Goyje village of Süleymaniye in 1862 and rose to the rank of colonel in the Ottoman army. As the present study is a part of a master՚s thesis, only the poems titled ŞuǾāǾāt and İlāve-i Şu'ā'āt are transcribed, and brief information is presented about the tags of his other works. This thesis consists of three parts following the Introduction. In the first part, there is the poet's life and his perspective of art. In the second part, consists of information about the works of the poet and the introduction of his works are given. The third part there is an examination of the poet's poems in terms of form and content. Finally, in the fourth chapter, the transcription of Şu'ā'āt and Ilave-i Şu'ā'āt takes place.
