Bu tez çalışması beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Seçme Prensiplerinden ve ilgili çalışmalardan kısaca bahsedilmiş olup, ikinci bölümün ilk kısmında konuyla ilgili ön bilgiler ve temel kavramlara yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümün ikinci kısmında Seçme Prensipleri Teorisine ve örtü özelliklerine ve bu seçme prensiplerinin zayıf formlarına değinilmiştir. Tezin ana kısmını oluşturan üçüncü bölümde yeni örtü çeşitleri olan Menger-kümesi (set-M), Rothberger-kümesi (set-R), Hurewicz-kümesi (set-H), Gerlitz-Nagy-kümesi (set-GN) ve bu örtü çeşitlerinin zayıf formları incelenmiş olup var olan örtü özellikleriyle aralarındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde eldeki sonuçlar değerlendirilerek önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Son bölümde ise kaynaklara yer verilmiştir.

This thesis consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, selection principles and related studies are briefly mentioned. In the first part of the second chapter, preliminary informations and basic concepts are given. In the second part of the second chapter, the theory of selection principles and covering properties are mentioned and weaker forms of these selection principles are mentioned. In the third chapter, which forms the main part of the thesis, the new covering types such as set-Menger (set-M), set-Rothberger (set-R), set-Hurewicz (set-H), set-Gerlitz-Nagy (set-GN) and also weaker types of these new covering types of selection principles are examined and their relationships with the existing covering characteristics are investigated. In the fourth section, the results are evaluated and suggestions are made. In the last section, references are included.
